Thank you so very much for all the help you gave me in the planning of the supper. All the care and attention you gave, and not only the superb service by your staff, and excellent food but all the little touches you made. The Wedding Supper ambience was enjoyed by all who shared this special day with Carolyn and James. Everyone said that it was the best Wedding Supper and atmosphere they had experienced, and will definitely be coming to the New Moon to enjoy the wonderful food when they are next in the area. I hope to be enjoying a meal with you the next time I am in Kendal although with Christmas shortly here it will probably be in the New Year. Thank you once again, and hope you have a good Christmas and New Year.

I wanted to say a huge 'thank you' for making my 40th birthday party on Saturday so special. Whilst I now live in Manchester, originally growing up in Kendal I wanted to come home for my party and I'm so glad I did.From helping me with the menu choice to the warm welcome we all received on the night, to the service and of course the fantastic food - it was all faultless and I know all 24 of us really enjoyed the night. I will certainly recommend all my friends and family visit you and I'm looking forward to joining you again on Christmas Eve.

Thank you for looking after us so well when we visited on 16th Feb 2010. We travelled from Lichfield to stay over in Kendal prior to the Lancaster University open day on Wednesday.
We, my wife and daughters, found you and wandered in on a Tuesday night expecting an empty restaurant at 6.30pm......far from it! I think you were full by the time our main courses arrived....mostly local and regular customers it sounded like. Always a good sign.
The food was great and the service both efficient and friendly. I knew of course that I wasn't going to get away with just the £9.95 two course special and I'm so glad we I didn't as the puddings were fantastic. How could I have missed them!
I wouldn't hesitate to tell anyone looking for somewhere to eat to visit your restaurant. My bill came to £77 for 3 courses with wine, drinks and the extras ordered by the girls. Thank you again and we will be back.
If you ever think of branching out ....come to Lichfield !
